DL.ART Thankful Thursday #174: Pink, Red, Hearts or All

Happy Thursday!! I hope you are all having a wonderful week!! Lent started yesterday, which means I have to give up salt for 40 days...ugh. It's time for another Thankful Thursday Challenge at DL.ART. Valentine's Day is just a few days away and the theme for this challenge is fitting: Pink, Red, Hearts or All :)

I decided to use all for my cards...pink, red and hearts :) The papers are from my current favorite paper company, Lemoncraft. This beautiful crinkle ribbon (my all-time fav) is Sweet Love from The Valentine Bundle.

I started by distressing the edges and stitching the background paper to the base. This gorgeous crinkle ribbon is Red Hot Love from The Valentine Bundle. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. Tucked among the flowers are Memory Box Chloe Stems, Poppystamps Viola Leaves and baby's breath. Some cheesecloth and lace from my stash were used as well.

A stitched heart from My Creative Time was used for the heart cut-out. Liquitex Modeling Paste was applied through a The Crafter's Workshop 'Art Is' stencil (my go-to stencil) and then I added the other two stitched hearts, popping each layer up for dimension. The sentiments are from Justrite Stamps Elegant Celebrations set. They were stamped on Stampin' Up!'s Designer Botanical Vellum and cut with a banner from My Craft Spot (no longer in business).

I am entering these in the following challenges:

1. Frilly and Funkie - Love is in the Air
2. Live and Love Crafts -  Love is in the Air
3. 2 Creative Chicks - Anything Goes
4. Pause, Dream Enjoy Linky - Anything Goes
5. Word Art Wednesday - Anything Goes
6. Little Scrap Pieces Show It Off Saturday - Anything Goes
7. Try It On Tuesday - A Fine Romance
8. Artistic Inspirations - Anything Goes /Valentine
9. Crafting for All Seasons - Love is in the Air

Now it's your turn!! Head on over to DL.ART to see the amazing projects my design team sisters have created for today's challenge!! Then link up your Pink, Red, Hearts or All project!! I can't wait to see what you create :)

Your flowers with the white foliage bits works so perfectly with the stunning shabby pink bow, and the vellum sentiment is the icing on the delicious cake!! Have a wonderful weekend....I am running around trying to get packed, finish up some shopping, baking and last minute stuff. We will be taking off in the morning until late Monday. It is suppose to only be a high of 5 so it will be a little chilly especially if the wind picks up, UGH! We will have fun either way...may have to stop for a hot drink?! Will catch up when I get back:)
    Happy Valentine's Day to!

  55. My sweetest friend, if only words existed to portray how much I sincerely adore these cards. Exquisite doesn't do them justice... beautiful doesn't even begin. Your use of lovely papers is always sublime but I am continually enamored with your detailing atop and within the paper layers. The dreamy sentiments are perfection and I completely adore the use of the Art Is stencil... it's such a soft and inspiring detail. You are amazing, my dearest Lisa. These are spectacular and will be cherished. :o) Have a wonderful night.

Both cards are stunning but no.1 in pink is my favourite just because of the pink shabbiness. :-) The vellum sentiments are gorgeous, like icing on the cake. Thanks for joining LLC for our "love is in the air" challenge.
